You will need:
200g mozzarella cheese
It takes 35 minutes to have this recipe done.
In a saucepan put water to boil and cook the cod for 5 minutes. Remove and let it cool. When it is not too cold and not too hot let´s say in a hand heat, remove the bones, skin and shred the cod.
Peel the potatoes and cut them in dice. Put them in a large bowl with water for not to get dark. Put the oven to heat in 180 degrees. Fry the diced potatoes. While they are frying in another large pan, put the oil, then add onions, minced garlic and bay leaves. The middle of the stew, add the grated carrot and cook 5 minutes more, stirring them occasionally all for not to get stick in the pan. Add the salt, pepper and nutmeg powder. Let it cook for 2 minutes with a bit of water.
Add the cream by stirring constantly and cook for 3 minutes. Mix well the fried diced potatoes in the end.
Put everything in a casserole greased with olive oil and sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
Take the gratin to the oven 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve with salad lettuce with tomato.
